Shenandoah Elementary School Recognized as Vimme Learning Spotlight School

MIDDLETOWN, IN — October 6, 2026 — Shenandoah Elementary School has been recognized by Vimme Learning as a Spotlight School, highlighting the school’s success in mathematics and the collaborative work of its teachers, administrators, and students.

The Vimme Learning Spotlight features Shenandoah’s journey from 47% mathematics proficiency on ILEARN in 2021 to 70.1% in 2024 - a 23.1 percentage-point increase. The article explores how a consistent, standards-aligned approach to math instruction, combined with teacher collaboration and high expectations for students, has contributed to that growth.

The story also highlights Shenandoah’s commitment to its core promise of “Win Together” and the belief that meaningful student success comes from educators working together with a common purpose.

“We are proud of the work of our teachers and staff and the commitment they have made to providing our students with a consistent, rigorous learning experience,” said Chandler Cross, Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. “This recognition is a great reflection of the collaborative culture we strive to build at Shenandoah.”

The Vimme Learning Spotlight provides an opportunity to celebrate the progress taking place at Shenandoah Elementary and the people who make that progress possible.
